Two-vehicle collision in Ontario kills the driver

Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, Nov. 9 (IBNS): Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and OPP collision reconstruction team were on the scene of collision after a car and a dump truck collided in the southbound lanes of the highway at around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The driver of the car, an 85-year old man died after his car crashed with a dump truck near Highway 48 and Bloomington Road in Whitchurch-Stouffville Tuesday afternoon.

Initially the driver of the car was airlifted to hospital but succumbed to his injuries soon.

The accident scene area was cordoned by police for investigation.

Police investigation is still in progress.
