Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu visits Pakistan

Islamabad, Sept 14 (IBNS): Mevlüt ÇavuÅŸoÄŸlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, is paying an official visit to Pakistan from Thursday.

He arrived in the nation on Thursday.

He is visiting the country upon the invitation of Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.

During the visit, Foreign Minister ÇavuÅŸoÄŸlu will meet with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and also he will be received by Arif Alvi, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and  Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During the meetings, the relations between Turkey and Pakistan will be discussed; and views will be exchanged on regional and international developments.

Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Pakistan last week.

He met  Pakistan's FM Qureshi, PM Imran and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa during his visit to the nation.
