Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan says its protest against inflation to continue

Lahore: The Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan has announced it will demonstrate outside the district press clubs across the country from Friday against the rising problem of inflation.

In a video message late in the afternoon, Saad Rizvi, the TLP chief, claimed success in Monday’s strike and promised next phase from March 3 till the government provides some relief to people of Pakistan, reports Dawn News.

Earlier, during the day, different markets of the city pulled their shutters down after TLP workers approached them, the newspaper reported.

According to a TLP press release, strike was also observed Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujaranwala, Rawalpindi and Abbottabad.
