Taliban kills security officer in Northern Afghanistan
Kabul/UNI: A security officer was killed and six others injured in an ambush attack by Islamist militia Taliban on a checkpoint in northern Afghanistan, on Saturday.
Sputnik quoted police spokesman of the Takhar Province, Abdul Khalil Asir, as saying that the Taliban carried out the retaliatory attack after a government air raid killed nine Taliban millitants, including a commander.
