Sialkot: Suspected Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) has desecrated 74 graves at the Ahmadiyya Cemetery in Daksa city recently.

"The Assistant Commissioner of Police ordered DC Sialkot in Pakistan to surround the Ahmadiyya community graveyard in Daska city and blocked the entrance of the Ahmadiyya Cemetery around 2100 hrs on 22.09.2023," a community member said.

"During the two-hour blockade by police, a total of 74 graves were desecrated by TLP goons led by one Yasin Haq, a member of the inner circle of TLP Amir, Saad Hassan Rijvi," a member said.

The TLP members also took away the debris and a few broken tombstones with them.

No reason was given to the Ahmadiyya community members for this action by the police and TLP members.
