Separate blasts kill 7 in Kabul

Kabul, Oct 1 (IBNS): At least seven people were killed and several others were injured in two back to back blasts in Afghanistan's capital Kabul city on Wednesday, media reports said.

"The first blast took place in Kart-e-Char area of Kabul city while the second blast was reported in Deh Sabz areawith preliminary reports suggesting that the target of the blasts were Afghan army transportation buses," Khaama Press (KP) reported.

Deputy interior minister for security Gen. Ayub Salangi confirmed the KP that two suicide attacks have taken place in Kart-e-Char and Deh Sabz areas.

Taliban militants group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, reports said.
