Rana Plaza mishap: 41 indicted

Dhaka, July 18 (IBNS): Nearly three years since the Rana Plaza mishap occurred in Bangladesh, a court in the country on Monday framed charges against 41 accused in a murder case filed filed in connection with the collapse.

Charges were filed against Rana Plaza owner Sohel Rana.

The order was passed by Dhaka District and Session Judges' Court Judge SM Kuddus Zaman.

The court also fixed Sept 18 as the date for the starting of the trial.

The collapse, which had grabbed the headlines across the world,  in 2013 had left at least 1,136 people killed.
