Parvez Musharraf declares full support for terror groups-Lashkar and JuD

Islamabad, Nov 29 (IBNS): Days after Pakistan released Jamaatud Dawa’s (JuD) chief Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, former military dictator Pervez Musharraf declared his complete support for the militant groups.

Speaking at a news television programme on late Tuesday night, Musharraf said, "I am the greatest supporter of Lashkar and I know they (Lashkar and Jamat-ud-Dawa) are fond of me."

Musharraf  is currently in Dubai, where he has taken refuge after Pakistan charged him with treason.

"The reason that I like these organizations is that I have always been in favour of action in Kashmir and pressuring the Indian army there. This (LeT and JuD) is the biggest force and they have been declared terrorists by India and the US jointly," Musharraf said.

Saeed is suspected of masterminding the attack Mumbai in 2008 that killed 166 people.
