Rescue sources told Geo News the Lasani Express Train to Lahore from Narowal collided with the school van near Pejowali Station owing to dense fog and as the gate at the crossing was open.

The injured children were taken to District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

DHQ Medical Superintendent Dr Latif Afzal told the Pakistan-based news channel the children are out of danger.
