Pakistan: Peshawar blast leaves one person dead

Peshawar: A blast rocked a motorcycle workshop near the Ring Road in Pakistan's Peshawar city on Thursday which left at least one person dead and three others injured, media reports said.

Peshawar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Harood Rashid confirmed the injuries and fatalities to Dawn News.

He told the Pakistani newspaper that the blast occurred at the jurisdiction of the Peshatakara police station.

The injured people were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex for treatment.

He said  200 grammes of explosives were used in the blast.

Investigation into the incident is currently underway.
