Pakistan: Number of people hit by coronavirus touches 34

Islamabad/IBNS: The total number of people suffering from coronavirus infection in Pakistan has touched 34, media reports said on Sunday.

The husband of the woman who had been admitted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after showing symptoms of the virus has also been reported to have contracted the virus, reported Geo News.

The couple has been reportedly kept in separate isolation.

PIMS officials told Geo News the number of patients under treatment at the hospital is now four. 

Coronavirus infection, which is believed to have originated from China's Wuhan city, has now spread across different countries in the world.

Apart from China, Italy is one of the worst-hit countries in the world.
