Pakistan: Man arrested for sexually assaulting daughter-in-law

Karachi: Police have arrested a man for allegedly sexually assaulting his daughter-in-law in Karachi city of Pakistan, media reports said.

According to details, police have registered a first information report (FIR) against the man identified as Safdar after his daughter-in-law approached the police station with her complaint, reported Geo News.

The woman told the news channel that she lived with her three children in Surjani Town.

Her husband works in Islamabad.

She accused Safdar of subjecting her to torture and sexual assault in the absence of her husband, reported Geo News.

Police said an investigation into the incident is going on.
