Pakistan: Imran Khan says implementation of 100-day plan is a primary target of his government

Islamabad, Sept 2 (IBNS): Pakistan's new PM Imran Khan has informed the bureaucracy and the Punjab cabinet during his recent meeting that his government's primary target is to implement the 100-day plan.

Khan said his government is determined to change governance in Pakistan.

He said his government will focus on 'austerity, anti-corruption & meritocracy'.

Khan tweeted: "Had very constructive meetings with Punjab CM & cabinet; & the senior Punjab bureaucracy yesterday. Informed them all that priority must be given to achieving our 100-Days prog. We are determined to change governance in Pak, focusing on austerity, anti-corruption & meritocracy."

Cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan took oath as Prime Minister of Pakistan last month.

Imran Khan and his PTI scripted a massive victory in the recently held general elections in the country.
