Pakistan: Hindu doctor shot dead in Karachi

Karachi: A Hindu doctor in Pakistan's Karachi city became the latest victim of target killing in Karachi city on Thursday.

He was shot dead by two motorcyclists on a busy road while he was returning from his clinic in a car.

The doctor was identified as Birbal Genani.

SSP City Arif Aziz, while talking to media, was quoted as saying by Dunya News that police have registered a case of this incident and investigations have begun already.

The SSP said, police are thoroughly investigating every aspects of this case.

He added, it would be early to say anything about this case, things will become clear when the female nurse accompanying the doctor will record her statement.

On the other hand, the injured nurse named Quratulain, in her initial statement, said that she just saw flames of fire out of the blue when she was travelling with the doctor, reports Dunya News.

She said that when she saw Birbal, his head was bleeding.
