Pakistan flight makes emergency crash-landing, 10 injured

Lahore, Nov 3 (IBNS) At least 10 people were injured as a Pakistani flight made an emergency crash-landing at Lahore's Allama Iqbal airport on Tuesday , media reports said.

The Shaheen Air International's Karachi-Lahore flight NL-142 flight  reportedly made the emergency landing after  its landing gear reportedly malfunctioned.

The injured people were provided medical treatment.

Passengers were evacuated from emergency gate, reports said.

Director of Engineering at Shaheen Air International, Syed Samin Uddin Naqvi, told Dawn.com that, "The aircraft was checked before the flight according to standard procedures."

He said the airline will conduct a probe into the matter.

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Pakistan earlier tweeted: "Due to runway incident at #Iqbal Int'l Airport of #Lahore following domestic flights are delayed until further notice. #NL143 #PK303 #PK652."
