Pakistan: Female pilot killed in PAF training aircraft crash
Peshawar, Nov 24 (IBNS) A woman Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Flying Officer died when the training aircraft crashed in Pakistan's Mianwali area on Tuesday, media reports said.
The deceased was identified as Flying Officer Marium Mukhtiar .
"Flying Officer Marium embraced martyrdom and became the first lady pilot from PAF to attain this great honour," Geo News quoted the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) statement.
Squadron Leader Saqib Abbasi was present in the aircraft when the crash occurred.
Abbasi sustained minor injuries, reports said.
