Quetta: Two officers of the Pakistani Frontier Corps died and three soldiers suffered injuries in an explosion close to their vehicle in  Kahan area of Kohlu district of the country on Friday, media reports said.

During the action, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded close to the leading party, resultantly, two officers Major Jawad and Captain Sagheer embraced Shahadat and laid their lives in defence of the motherland.

It said that the sanitisation operation continues in the area to apprehend perpetrators and enemies of peace.

“Such cowardly acts by inimical elements cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan,” the ISPR stated, adding that security forces were determined to neutralize the nefarious designs even at the cost of their blood and lives.
