As per a notification issued by the additional chief secretary of home and tribal affairs on Wednesday, Fisheries Secretary Imran Gichki will lead the committee comprising the deputy inspector general of Quetta police, deputy commissioner of Kech and Gwadar SSP, reported Dawn News.

The committee, formed under Section 3(1) of the Balochistan Tribunal of Inquiry Ordinance 1969, will investigate the CTD’s alleged encounter leading to the death of Balaach, the Pakistani newspaper reported.

According to reports,  the committee has been directed to complete its inquiry, determine the incident’s motives, and submit the report within 15 days.

Meanwhile, Balaach’s coffin was buried in Koh-i-Murad graveyard on Wednesday, following his funeral prayers at Fida Shaheed Chowk attended by hundreds of people, reported the newspaper.
