Pakistan Army: Baloch officer kills Colonel Maula Bakhsh Lahori; Pashtun and Baloch officers desert duty

Islamabad/IBNS: Reflecting an internal conflict within the Pakistan Army and a revolt that broke out in 31 Baloch Regiment, a clash erupted between Baloch officer Major Gul Marjan Bugti and Punjabi officer Colonel Maula Bakhsh Lahori recently. Colonel Lahori was killed in the clash, sources said.

According to sources, Bugti killed Lahori on the spot.

After the clash, nearly 84 Baloch soldiers joined Bugti to burn the mess of 420 Brigade in Domail Cantt

"Baloch officer Major Gul Marjan Bugti who killed his Punjabi CO yesterday, has been made 'missing person'," sources added.

According to sources, Pashtun and Baloch officers of all brigades and units in Domail Cantt have deserted their duties.

"The mutiny is spreading like wildfire," sources said.
