Pakistan: 22 die after consuming toxic liquor

Islamabad, Dec 27 (IBNS): At least 22 people were killed by consuming toxic liquor in Pakistan, media reports said on Tuesday.

Over dozens were hospitalised after consuming toxic liquor on Christmas in Muhalla Mubarakabad and Christian Colony areas of Toba Tek Singh, police was quoted as saying by Geo News.

Several others are undergoing treatment in hospital.

An inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the matter, reports said.
