Pak PM holds 'urgent meeting' in wake of India's LoC violation

Islamabad, Feb 26 (UNI/IBNS) :Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan held an emergency meeting at 1100 hrs on Tuesday to discuss the security situation, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said.

Earlier this morning, Qureshi had summoned an emergency meeting at the Foreign Office in Islamabad to discuss the emerging situation in the wake of Indian Air Force's (IAF) violation of the Line of Control, Radio Pakistan reported.

The meeting was attended by former secretaries and senior ambassadors.

Meanwhile, India's Cabinet Committee on Security met at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi, following which the Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement on the incident this morning.
