One dead, another injured in shootout in Finland
Helsinki, Oct 5 (Xinhua/UNI) A man was shot dead and a woman injured in Alavus, central western Finland on Friday night, local media reported Saturday.
The suspect, a man in his 40s, shot at his former wife and a man in her company. The man died and the woman was seriously injured.
The suspect was detained and the police told local newspaper Pohjalainen that the handgun used by the suspect was illegal.
There were other people on the scene but they were not targeted. The police were investigating the incident as murder.
