Nepal: Bus mishap kills 33

Kathmandu, Nov 3 (IBNS): At least 33 people were killed as the bus in which they were traveling veered off the road and plunged more than 100 metres down in Nepal's Ramche village on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to reports, 35 others were injured in the mishap.

Police personnel and local people carried out the rescue operations, reports said.

The identity of those killed in the mishap is not known so far.

"It has been learned that there were 70 persons on board the ill-fated bus when the incident occurred," The Himalayan Times reported.
