N Korean parliament re-elects Kim as chair of State Affairs Commission

Tokyo, Apr 12 (Sputnik/UNI) North Korea's supreme leader Kim Jong Un has been re-elected as the chairman of the State Affairs Commission at the latest session of the country's parliament, media have reported.

The South Korean Yonhap news agency reported that the parliament appointed Kim Jae Ryong as the country's new premier of the cabinet, replacing Pak Pong Ju.


Moreover, the legislature also named Choe Ryong Hae the nominal head of state — the president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly — replacing Kim Yong Nam.
