Islamabad, July 12 (IBNS): The mastermind of Pakistan's Army Public School massacre, which had left the entire nation shocked in 2014, was killed in a drone strike in Afghanistan, Pakistan's media reports said.

Two senior security officials told Dawn News Umar Mansour, alias Khalifa Mansour, alias Umar Naray, had been killed, along with another militant leader Qari Saifullah, in the US drone attack in the Bandar area of Afghanistan’s Nangarhar province on Saturday.

“What we have is pretty credible,” one of the officials told the newspaper.

The massacre had left 144 students and staff members dead.
