Karachi: Terrorists attack ASF academy

Karachi, June 10 (IBNS) Terrorists on Tuesday attacked the Airport Security Force (ASF) academy adjacent to old Karachi airport, after Sunday's attack at the Jinnah International Airport here leaving at least 28 people including 10 militants, dead.

Pakistan based Geo News reported that militants entered the vicinity and ambushed the ASF campus.

Firing was heard from two locations and reports said 5-10 militants have stormed the area again.

"Initial reports state 2-3 people have been injured. Have been shifted hospital for treatment," reported Geo News.

The firing reportedly stopped around 1.30 pm.

ASF academy sources said the terrorists managed to escape from the site.

Meanwhile, flight operations from Jinnah International Airport has again been suspended.

"Flight operations at #Jinnah International Airport are SUSPENDED until further notice," tweeted Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
