I am even more optimistic about the future: Obama

Washington, July 28 (IBNS): Endorsing Hillary Clinton, US President Barack Obama on Thursday aid while addressing at the Democratic National Convention at Philadelphia that he is optimistic about the future of the nation.

"I stand before you again tonight. Almost,after two terms as your President, to tell you I am even more optimistic about the future," Obama said.

He said the country is more stronger and prosperous by many measures now.

"By so many measures, our country is stronger and more prosperous than it was when we started," he said.

He said more should be done for the future of the nation who have not felt the sign of progress made by the country.

Obama endorsed Clinton and said she is one of the most qualified women to serve the country as the President

Making history, Hillary Clinton  on Tuesday secured  the Democratic Party's U.S. presidential nomination for the US Presidential polls.

She has become the first woman to get the ticket for the polls from a major party in the country.
