Heavy rains,thunderstorm hit Pakistan, 30 killed

Islamabad, June 2 (IBNS): Heavy rains and thunderstorm hit upper parts of Pakistan on Wednesday which left 30 people killed, media reports said.

Several people have been injured in the incident.

According to reports,  11 people died an 69 were injured as torrential rains hit Islamabad city in Pakistan.

At twin city Rawalpindi 19 people died and 122 were injured, rescue services were quoted as saying by Geo News.

An IESCO spokesperson was quoted as saying by Geo News: "The IESCO operation was affected due to the rains and thunderstorm."

Metro bus service was hit due to the thunderstorm, reports said.
