Lagos, Apr 21 (Xinhua/UNI) A group of unidentified gunmen in the early hours of Saturday invaded a recreational center in Kaduna state, north Nigeria, and killed two tourists, including a woman.

The gunmen armed with dangerous weapons abducted three other tourists and made away with them to an unknown destination, according to local police.

State police spokesman Yakubu Sabo confirmed the incident in a statement made available to journalists in the state capital on Saturday.

Sabo said some gunmen stormed the recreational resort called "Kajuru Castle" where they opened fire on guests, killing two on the spot.

The spokesman said a patrol team have evacuated the victims, believed to be tourists from Lagos, Nigeria's economic hub, to the St. Gerard Catholic Hospital in Kaduna metropolis.
