Kabul, Aug 3 (IBNS): Fire broke out at New Kabul Bank branch in Afghanistan on Friday, media reports said.

No casualty was reported.

The early morning fire broke out in the bank’s building situated at the Amariat square due to an electric shortcut, the governor’s spokesman, Jilani Farhad, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The fire reportedly caused a significant amount of damage to the building.

Firefighters reached the spot and brought the flames under control.

An investigation to understand the exact cause of the fire is currently going on.
