FIR lodged against Pakistani online taxi driver for harassing foreigner

A First Information Report has been filed against an online taxi driver for allegedly harassing a foreigner.

The woman is reportedly a citizen of the USA.

The FIR was filed in Gadap police station following a complaint by the woman.

According to the FIR – a copy of which is available with ARY News, the victim booked an online taxi from Karachi’s Superhighway.

She alleged that the driver started harassing her at gunpoint.

“Following his [the online taxi driver] actions, I started shouting but to no avail. He then manhandled me and continued harassing,” she said.

Police said the matter is currently under investigation.
