Explosion in Kabul kills two ANA soldiers

Kabul, Aug 6 (IBNS): An explosion in Afghanistan's capital Kabul city on Monday killed at least two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers on Monday, media reports said.

The incident left two others injured.

Police spokesman Hashmatullah Stanikzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in the Khwaja Lakan area of Paghman district at 8pm.
No civilian was killed in the explosion.

Zainullah Stanikzai, a resident of the area, told the Afghanistan-based news agency that the explosion was powerful and the pick-up vehicle the soldiers were travelling in was destroyed.
