Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran: Donald Trump as Israel-Iran conflict prevails

Washington DC/IBNS: US President Donald Trump has appealed to the residents of Tehran to flee as Israel and Iran continued to fire at each other.

Trump has blamed Iran for not signing the "deal" and accused the Middle East country of causing deaths of people.

In a post on Truth Social, the President wrote, "Iran should have signed the “deal” I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!"

Meanwhile, Trump cut short his G7 Summit visit to Canada owing to the situation in the Middle East.

Iran launched another barrage of ballistic missiles towards the densely populated regions of Israel, prompting the sounding of sirens in the affected areas, media reports said.

Iran announced that it has responded to the Israeli onslaught across the Gulf nations, in which Tehran has faced the majority of the blows.

Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that killing Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, will end the conflict.

His remark comes a day after US President Donald Trump vetoed this plan.

"It's not going to escalate the conflict, it's going to end the conflict," Netanyahu told ABC News in an interview.

Israeli forces have already attacked nuclear infrastructure in Tehran besides striking its oil depot.

The headquarters of the Iranian state television, Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN), operated by IRIB, was hit by an Israeli strike on Monday evening, which abruptly halted its live broadcast, media reports said.

According to the Iranian media, the explosion occurred while a presenter was delivering a live on-air criticism of Israel. Moments later, she was seen leaving the broadcast.

The Israel Defense Forces on Monday claimed it had eliminated four high-ranking Iranian intelligence officials during a precision airstrike carried out by Israeli fighter jets in Tehran.

The deceased included the chief of the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The Iranian Health Ministry claimed 224 people have been killed by the Israeli attacks while the casualty figure in Israel increased to 24.
