Donald Trump rubbishes Apprentice involvement as 'Fake News'

| | Dec 11, 2016, at 04:04 am
Washington, Dec 10 (IBNS): US President-elect Donald Trump has rubbished reports linking him as the executive producer of TV show The Apprentice.

Trump took to Twitter to clarify his stance and discarded the news as fake.

"Reports by @CNN that I will be working on The Apprentice during my Presidency, even part time, are ridiculous & untrue - FAKE NEWS!" his tweet read.

"I have NOTHING to do with The Apprentice except for fact that I conceived it with Mark B & have a big stake in it. Will devote ZERO TIME!" a second tweet read.

Quoting sources, CNN had reported on Dec 8 that Trump will act as the executive producer of the show and will be conducting business from inside the White House.

"Donald Trump will remain as an executive producer on NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," even while serving as president of the United States," The CNN report read.
