Dhaka: Fire breaks out at DCC market

Dhaka, Jan 3 (IBNS): A massive fire has gutted DCC market in Dhaka’s Gulshan-1 area on Tuesday, media reports said.

According to reports, a portion of the market building has also collapsed.

Twenty units of firefighters are currently aty the spot and are trying to bring the fire under control.

Babul Mia, duty officer at Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, was quoted as saying by The DailyStar: "A portion of the market collapsed in the fire."

No casualty has been reported so far.

The casue of the fire is still not known.
