Covid-19: Cases in Germany surpass 1,66,000

Berlin/UNI: The total number of Covid-19 cases in Germany have reached 166,091 since the start of the pandemic as 1,284 new cases were registered over the past 24 hours, confirmed the Robert Koch Institute said on Thursday.

Sputnik quoted the institute confirming that the death toll in the European nation has reached 7,119 as 123 more deaths were recorded in the past 24 hours.

On the bright side more than 139,000 patients have made a recovery till now since the start of the outbreak.

As per latest data from the World Health Organization(WHO) till now more than 3.7 million people have been infected with the coronavirus worldwide. The Jon Hopkins University says that more than 263,000 have lost their lives due to the ailment.
