Coronavirus reaches Afghanistan capital Kabul

Kabul/IBNS: With Coronavirus spreading across several nations in the world since its outbreak in China,  15 suspect cases of the disease infected people were reported from  Kabul, Baghlan, Herat, and Ghor provinces in Afghanistan, media reports said.

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) spokesperson Wahidullah Mayar was quoted as saying by Khaama Press that 5 suspect cases of coronavirus are registered in Kabul.

Out of 10 cases registered in Kabul 5 of them were confirmed negative, Mayar told the news agency.

The outbreak of Coronavirus originated from Wuhan China negatively affected Afghanistan’s economy including exports and imports to and from China, reported the Afghanistan-based news agency.

The prices of medical masks and groceries that contain Vitamin C in the country ever since the first case of coronavirus broke in the country.
