China reiterates claim over Taiwan

| @indiablooms | Oct 28, 2020, at 11:32 pm

Beijing/UNI: The Chinese government on Wednesday again made claims over Taiwan, calling it a part of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Spokesperson of the government department called 'Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council', Zhu Fenglian claimed that events related to Taiwan's recovery from Japanese occupation were "irrefutable evidence" that the island was a part of the PRC.

Zhu gave this explanation, while reacting to a question at a press conference here.

He warned that those seeking separation, are harming the well-being of Taiwanese people.
