China kindergarten blast: Seven dead, several injured

Jiangsu, June 15 (IBNS): A blast at a kindergarten of China on Thursday claimed seven lives and left several injured, media reports.

The blast took place at Fengxian county in Eastern province of Jiangsu.

The incident occurred at  17:00 (09:00 GMT) when the parents were taking their wards from the school.

The actual figure of casualties is yet unknown.

Xinhua report suggested, two people instantly died while five others later died from injuries.

Out of injured people, nine are in serious condition.
