China: First batch of Coronavirus-affected patients received at Wuhan hospital built in 10 days

Wuhan/IBNS: A hospital built in 10 days in Chinese city Wuhan received its first batch of patients affected by novel Coronavirus, which claimed more than 360 lives in the country, on Monday, media reports said.

The 1000-bed hospital has been built in Wuhan, the epicentre of the Coronavirus outbreak, solely for the Coronavirus-affected patients.

Another similar hospital, which will have 1600 beds, is coming up. The new hospital will be effective by Feb 5.

The death toll from the Coronavirus in China has reached 425 with 20,438 confirmed cases till Tuesday morning.

Phillippines has reported the first death in Coronavirus outside mainland China.
