An explosive planted on a motorcycle in Drazanda area of Pakistan's Dera Ismail Khan on Friday left at least three people injured.

Yaqoob Khan, the spokesperson of Dera Ismail Khan District Police Officer Abdul Rauf, confirmed the number of injuries to Dawn.com.

He said the injured were moved to the District Headquarters Hospital and the condition of one was critical.

“Four shops and three motorcycles in the locality suffered severe damages,” Khan told the Pakistani newspaper.

A large number of police rushed to the spot after the blast.

The area was cordoned off and currently, an investigation is underway.

Several regions in Pakistan have been witnessing a uptick in terror-related activities in recent months.
