Bangladesh: Sheikh Hasina to brief media on her three-nation tour tomorrow

Dhaka, June 8 (IBNS): Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address a press conference on her recent tri-nation tour in Dhaka on Sunday.

She returned to Bangladesh on Saturday after visiting Japan, SaudiArabia and Finland.

The press conference will be held in Ganabhaban at 5pm, the Prime Minister’s Office announced as reported by bdnews24 news portal.

Sheikh Hasina's last destination was Finland.

Hasina kicked off the tri-nation tour with a visit to Japan on May 28. She delivered an address at the 'The Future of Asia' conference in Tokyo before holding a bilateral meeting with her Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe, reported the news portal.

During her visit to Japan, the country signed $2.5 billion in official development assistance to fund several infrastructural projects in the Bangladesh PM's nation.

She visited Saudi Arabia to attend the 14th Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

During her stay in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hasina also performed Umrah in Makkah and visited the tomb of Prophet Muhammad in Madina.
