The fire broke out at Block B of the No. 11 Balukhali Rohingya refugee camp at 2:30 pm on Sunday and spread across a number of houses immediately, Sheikh Md Ali, chief of a local police unit, told the news portal.

“The fire has spread to the No. 10, 11, and 12 refugee camps," Ali said, citing witnesses.

The total loss due to the fire is still not known.

The exact cause of the fire is unknown so far.

No casualty has been reported so far.
