Balochistan teen goes missing amid protest in Islamabad

A teen from Pakistan's Kech district was allegedly taken away by Pakistan forces on Sunday.

He was identified as Nadil.

According to local sources, the Pakistani law-enforcement officials arrested Nadil from Buleda and moved him to an unknown location, reported The Balochistan Post.

His family still does not know about his whereabouts.

The incident took place at a time when Baloch protesters were participating in a sit-in protest by the Baloch Yakjetti Committee (BYC) in Islamabad.

The BYC is a group of families of missing Baloch people who are demanding the release of their loved ones and justice for the victims of “enforced disappearances” and “extrajudicial killings” in Balochistan, the news portal reported.
