Afghanistan: Zabul Governor Rahmatullah Yarmall survives armed attack
Kabul, Oct 22 (IBNS): The Zabul Governor Rahmatullah Yarmall escaped an armed attack in Afghanistan's Mizani district, media reports said on Monday.
The governor told Pajhwok Afghan News that he had gone to the district for assessing the security situation on Sunday.
He told the Afghanistan-based news agency that he came under Taliban attack in a mountain area in return to Qalat City, the provincial capital.
One security guard of the Governor was reportedly injured in the attack.
