Kabul, Mar 2 (IBNS): At least three people died in a car bomb explosion which rocked Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Friday morning, reports said.

Additionally, 22 people were injured as the explosion targeted a foreign forces convoy which was passing through the Qabel Bai area of Kabul Police District 9, local Tolo News reported.

According to Afghanistan's Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish, a Suzuki vehicle was used by suicide bombers.

No group, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

It comes just days after the second Kabul Peace Process conference in which Afghan President Ashraf Ghani made a peace offer to militants.
