Afghanistan: Taliban terrorist kidnap five passengers

Kabul, Mar 30 (IBNS): Taliban terrorists have arrested five passengers from Qala-i-Naw town in Afghanistan, media reports said on Friday.

Deputy Police Chief Col. Ghulam Sarwar Haidari told Afghanistan's Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban stopped a passenger vehicle on its way from Herat to Badghis in Qala-i-Naw’s Laman area on Thursday evening and held five passengers.

The people are reportedly all civilians.

According to a report published in the Afghanistan news agency, they are currently in the Taliban captivity in Bandyakhak locality.

Security forces are attempting to rescue them.

Taliban has not commented on the issue so far.
