Afghanistan: Taliban attack leaves police official, 2 others killed

Kabul, Oct 30 (IBNS): A Taliban attack in Afghanistan's western Farah province on Tuesday left at least one police official and two others security officials killed, media reports said.

Dadullah Qaneh, a member of provincial council, told Pajhwok Afghan News the police head for 1st police district of Farah City and his two other policemen were killed in Taliban attack in Ganj area at 9pm on Monday night.

He said the attackers left the area after the assault.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
