Afghanistan: Special Forces kill, detain 11 Taliban and ISIS militants

Kabul, Sept 24 (IBNS): The Afghan Special Forces have killed or detained 11 Taliban and Islamic State terrorists while conduction operations in Wardak, Balkh and Nangarhar provinces of the country, media reports said.

The military officials told Khaama Press on Tuesday the Special Forces killed 5 Taliban militants during a raid in Nerkh district of Wardak. 

The officials further added that the Special Forces also arrested 5 Taliban militants and destroyed a cache of weapons during the same operation.

Apart from the detentions, Special Forces destroyed a cache of weapons during a raid in Chimtal district of Balkh.

The Special Forces arrested a militant of ISIS Khurasan during a raid in Deh Bala district of Nangarhar, the officials told the Khaama Press.
