Afghanistan: Road mishap kills 52

Kabul, May 8 (IBNS) At least 52 people were killed when two buses and a fuel tanker collided on a highway in Afghanistan on Sunday, media reports said.

The mishap occurred in southern Ghazni province.

Mohammadullah Ahmadi, traffic department head, told Pajhwok Afghan News accident happened at the Larma locality of Muqar district when two 303 passenger buses crashed with a truck.

The incident left 73 others injured.

Rescue team reached the spot following the incident.
